Reginald Walter Sheppard Meadows, NL Passed away peacefully on October 17th, 2006 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook after a courage battle with cancer Reginald Walter Sheppard at the age of 58 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife and best friend Hilda (nee Caines) of Meadows. He was a devoted dad to Judy Sheppard (Mike Wildman), Kitchener, Ont., Cathy (Nick) Park, Guelph, Ont., and Glyness (Dave) Wells, Cox’s Cove. Special pop to Cora Sheppard, Kitchener, Ont., Robyn & Ashley Park, Guelph, Ont., Tyler Wells, Cox’s Cove. Survived by parents Hilliard & Alice Sheppard, Cox’s Cove. Brothers: Scott (Ruby) Sheppard, Huntsville, Ont., William (Olive) Sheppard, Cox’s Cove, Dave Sheppard, Mount. Forest, Ont., Gord (Violet) Sheppard, Victoria, BC and Everett Sheppard, Toronto, Ont. brothers and sisters-in-law: Patsy (Dave) Perry, Pynn’s Brook, Bernice (Medrick) Park, Cox’s Cove, James (Marilyn) Caines, Kitchener, Ont., Glenn (Pam) Caines, Meadows and Maxine (Ira) Payne, Cox’s Cove. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends. He was predeceased by his brother Robert, parents-in-law Charles & Amelia Caines. Friends may visit Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Cox’s Cove on Tuesday from the hours of 7-9 PM, Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Thursday 10-12 noon from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 19th at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Crane officiating. Interment to follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Emmanuel Pentecostal Church Memorial Fund.
