Henry William KENDELL York Harbour, NL April 23, 1929 - October 24, 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Henry Kendell announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Tuesday, October 24th, 2006 at the age of 77 years. He leaves to mourn wife Maisie; children: Eric, Leona Gilbert (Gerald), Kenneth (Cheryl), Angus (Susan), Andy (Susanne), Charles (Lillian), Karen Combdon (Kevin), Tony (Philomena), Wilfred (Paula), Boyd, Laverne, Rex (Bonnie); daughter-in-law Laura; 40 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brothers: Wilson (Melissa) and Archibald (Lois); sisters: Pearl Sheppard (Alan) and Charlotte Sheppard, as well as many other relatives and friends. Friends may visit St. James Anglican Church in Lark Harbour on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., from where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 27th at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the V.O.N. Special thanks to the nurses & doctors of Palliative Care at W.M.R.H.
