Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Fletcher Joyce announce his passing on Thursday, July 15, 2004 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 68. He will be sadly missed by his son Blaine (Tammy) and Blaine's mother Mabel, grandchildren Jordon and Ryan; sisters and brothers Jack (Clair), Agatha Poole (Norman), Mary Russell (Max); sister-in-law Peg Joyce, special friend Sarah Gale and numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents George and Sarah Joyce, sister Grace Oxford (Raymond), brother George Joyce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 19th at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street, Father Bernard Buckle officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, Friday from 7-9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy flowers are gracoiously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
