“Bonnie” Elizabeth Veronica Ryan (nee Cunning) Corner Brook, NL July 12, 1927 - November 5, 2006 Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 5, 2006, Bonnie Ryan at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in her 80th year. Bonnie was the beloved wife of Otto John Ryan. Left to mourn are her beloved children Wayne (Sylvia), Corner Brook, Robert, St. John`s, Diane (Jim Roberts), Mount Pearl and Donald (Donna), Cornwall , Ontario, beloved grandchildren: Karen (George) Lemoine, Janice, Christopher, Corner Brook, Scott, Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Ryan LeDrew, St. John`s, Stephanie LeDrew, Mount Pearl, Karen Waters, Ottawa, Ontario, Andrew, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Rebecca and Michael, Cornwall, Ontario, beloved great-grandchildren: Nathan and Sylvie Lin Lemoine, Corner Brook, brothers: Roland (Phyllis) Cunning, Corner Brook, Roy (Theresa) Cunning, Pasadena, sisters-in-law: Ethel Cunning, Oakville, Ontario and Joyce Cunning, Princeton, Ontario as well as a large circle of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Bonnie was the daughter of the late Walter and Doris Cunning (nee Bennett). She was predeceased by eight brothers and three sisters, Harold Gordon, Walter Alton, Gordon Lyle, Joseph, Baden, Alexander “Sandy”, John “Jack”, Homer, Gertrude, Megan and Georgina. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre`s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark`s Avenue on Monday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday, November 7th at 10:30 A.M. from the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Main Street, Corner Brook, Reverend Michael Rice officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of ones choice.
