Massey Drive, NL It is with great sadness that the family of Winnifred Rose announce her passing on Saturday, July 17th, 2004 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 93. Leaving to mourn and loving memories her children; John (Irene), Springdale, Marie (Selby) Decker, Fort McMurray, AB, Margie Butt (friend John Rose), Massey Drive, Emily (Robert) Simms, Massey Drive; two step-sons; Heber )Lizzie) Rose, Stephenville Crossing and Clarence Rose, Corner Brook, special granddaughter Kim Pike (Andy) and her mother Loretta Savard, Massy Drive, sister-in-law Blanche Griffin, Harbour Breton, 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Harold, 1981, son Bill, 1940, son-in-law Reg Butt, 1997 and brother Bert Griffin, 1979. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 20th at 2:00 p.m. from St. John the Evangelist Cathedral, Main Street. Rev. Lorne Gosse officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
