ESTHER MABEL MOORE April 5, 1931 - November 21, 2006 Corner Brook, NL (Formerly of Eastport, NL) It is with great sadness that the family of the late Esther Moore announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, November 21st, 2006 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with very fond and loving memories are her four children: Norma Plowman (Daniel), Port Sauders, Sherry Jones (John), Jackson`s Arm, Valerie Moore (Carley), Corner Brook and Perry Moore, St. John`s; seven precious grandchildren: Kirk, Daniel, Kevin, Kimberly, Tonya, Carla and Carl; five adorable great grandchildren: Lytora, Alexis, Ashley, Adam and Abigail; special companion: Leslie Anthony and family; sister: Sylvia Davis (Henry), Pollard`s Point; brother: Gordon Ricks (Madeline), Pollard`s Point; brothers-in-law: George and Solomon Pittman, Sop`s Arm; sisters-in-law: Clara Moore, Clarenville and Mamie Tiller, Dildo, Trinity Bay; as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Edwin Moore (1994); granddaughter: Paula; sisters: Ena and Violet and brother Simon. Friends visited Fillatre`s Funeral Home, 218 Curling street on Wednesday evening from 7-9:00 p.m., from where Mrs. Moore was transferred to Squires Funeral Home, Eastport, NL for visitation on Thursday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Friday, 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral service will take place on Friday, November 24th at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Cross Anglican Church, Eastport, Reverend Paul Thoms officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
