CHARLES RAYMOND JANES October 28, 1925 - November 21, 2006 GLENBURNIE, BONNE BAY It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charlie Janes announce his passing on Tuesday, November 21st, 2006 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his four children: Linda Sheppard, Ajax, On, Frazer (Marjorie), Oshawa, On, Ada Russell (Bram), Corner Brook and Tony (Jean), Corner Brook; 10 precious grandchildren: Tina, Ricky, Tracy, Candace, Christopher, Stacey, Stephen, Nicolle, Danielle and Andrew; 11 great grandchildren; one sister: Mary Reid, St. Paul`s; one brother: Angus Janes (Shirley), Deer Lake; brothers-in-law: Ira Parsons (Eva), Nova Scotia, Steadman Goosney and Glen Moss; sister-in-law: Greta Parsons; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Marion; son-in-law: Rex Sheppard; parents: Joseph and Jane Janes; brothers: Frazer and Gordon; sisters: Ada and Alma. Friends may visit the United Church in Shoal Brook on Thursday from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, November 24th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Beverly Snow officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
