DEXTER RENDELL Corner Brook, NL WW11 Veteran It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dexter Rendell announce his passing on Sunday, November 26th, 2006 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn: his wife of 63 years; Muriel; son: Bruce (Ann), Miramichi, NB; daughter: Robin Rendell, Corner Brook; one grandson: Toby Roberts, Corner Brook; two granddaughters: Susan Cullen (Phil), Cork, Ireland and Kathleen Rendell, Miramichi, NB; one brother: Ross (Doreen) Rendell, Corner Brook; three nephews: Dennis, Darren and David Rendell; sister-in-law: Doris Rendell, St. John`s, as well as other cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Chesley and Helena Rendell and brother: Carl. Granting his wishes of a simple ceremony, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 30th at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, Park Street. Rev. Dr. Wayne Cole officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot, Townsite. Following the burial ceremony, there will be a gathering of relatives and friends at the Royal Canadian Legion from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador.
