WILLIAM FRANCIS BLANCHARD Shallop Cove, NL July 14th, 1926 - December 9th, 2006 Passed peacefully away on Saturday, December 9th, 2006 William Blanchard at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 43 years Hilda (nee Balsom), four daughters: Karen (Ronal), Mississauga, Ont; Theresa (Brent), Oromocto, NB; Stella (Shawn), Oromocto, NB and Vivian (Sheldon), Burlington; two sons: Dwayne (Corena), Stephenville and Adrian (Pam), Mississauga, Ont; two brothers: Raymond (Monnie), Shallop Cove and Kevin (Mary), Shallop Cove and ten grandchildren. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Louis and Ester Blanchard and sister Bernadette Kehoe. Friends may visit St. Joseph Parish, St. George’s on Tuesday from the hours of 2-9 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 13th at 10:30 AM with Father Gerard Patry and Father Maurice O’Quinn officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted.
