VINA MAY SWYERS October 17th, 1920 - December 17th, 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vina May Swyers announce her passing on Sunday, December 17th, 2006 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing at the age of 86 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her 3 daughters: Olivera Rubia, Stephenville Crossing, Marie (Tom) McDonald and Vivian (Louis) White, Stephenville; 5 sons: Terry Swyers, Greg (Marguerite) Swyers, Wayne (Tammy) Swyers, Stephenville Crossing, Ricky (Carolyn) Swyers, St. George’s and James (Kathy) Swyers, St. John, NB; 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Martin Swyers and son Ronald Swyers. Friends may Visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Tuesday from 10-12 Noon. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 19th at 2:00 PM from the Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
