Obituary of Bernard Joseph Wheeler

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernard Wheeler announce his passing on Sunday, July 25th, 2004 at the J. I. O'Connell Centre at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories; sisters: Mildred (Cyril) Chaytor, Eva Burk, Halfway Point, and Gerona Donahue, Corner Brook, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by brothers; Austin, Harold, Leo, Clayton and Wilfred, sister Edna and parents Thomas and Elizabeth Wheeler. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. and Tuesday morning 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, July 27th at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady Star of the Sea, Benoit's Cove. Officiated by Fr. Bernard Buckle. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.
