Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of Mackey Christopher announce his sudden passing on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 60. Leaving to mourn with very fond and loving memories; his wife Gloria (nee Hackett), two daughters, Nicole and Carla, and son Dean; sisters and brothers: Mona (Mike) Urbenz, Derm (Chris) Christopher, Ed (Louise) Christopher), Thelma Dunphy and friend Jim, Betty (George) Payne; sister-in-law Floss Christopher; brothers-in-law: Nev (Jane) Hackett, Dave (Carolyn) Hackett, Garland (Armond) Hackett, special friends Roy and Pam Young, as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, many relatives and a wide variety of friends. He was predeceased by parents Fred and Evelyn Christopher, brother Fred Jr., brother-in-law Marven Hackett and father and mother-in-law Dave and Claudine Hackett. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue ON Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m., and Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 29th, at 10:30 a.m. from The Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Mt. Bernard Avenue. Officiated by Fr. Edmund Camacho. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador or to the charity of ones choice.
