DR. DOUGLAS HAROLD JENKINS Corner Brook, NL June 23rd, 1949 - January 11th, 2007 						 It is with great sadness that the family of the late r. Douglas Jenkins announce his passing on Thursday, January 11th, 2007 at his family residence, Corner Brook at the age of 57 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 33 years Diana (nee Hicks), sons: Chris (Allison Spracklin), and Gregory all Corner Brook, one precious grandson Riley, his parents Ronald and Effie, Corner Brook, sisters: Linda (Deryck) Harnett, St. John’s and Bernice (Bill) Jamer, Ottawa, brother Ken (Marcie), Steady Brook, sister and brothers-in-law: Florence (Jim) Loughlin, Corner Brook, William (Brenda) Hicks, Deep Bight, Derek (Marion) Hicks, Corner Brook and Tony (Colleen) Hicks, California. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 14th at 2:00 PM from the Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Kathy Brett officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Epilepsy Association of NL, the CNIB or to a charity of one’s choice.
