JEREMIAH “JERRY” PUMPHREY Corner Brook, NL September 16th, 1914 - January 12th, 2007 							 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jeremiah Pumphrey announce his passing on Friday, January 12th, 2007 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 92 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 62 years Ivy, children: Gerard (Verna), Sharon (Rendell), Judy (Morgan), Ellen (Archie), Alice (Edgar), Kevin (Joan), Barbara (Larry), Brenda (David), Sheila (Peter). 19 grandchildren: Brian, Connie, Randy, Darren, Glenn, Gregory, Karen, Craig, Jennifer, Angela, Joanne, Sheila, Susan, Neala, Paul, Charlene, Joel, Brad, Stacy and 17 great-grandchildren. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Terry, 1999 and granddaughter Pamela Kelly, 2001. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday from the hours of 7-9 Pm and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 15th at 10:30 AM from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating.
