Joseph Irvin Blanchard Gillams, NL November 1, 1946 - January 18, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Blanchard announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, January 18th, 2007 at the age of 60 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Janet; children: Andrew (Tammy), Kitchener, ON, Christopher (Ruth), Gillams, Fraser, Kitchener, ON, Monty (Jennifer), Kitchener, ON and Tanya (Brad) Harding, Arborg, MB; six precious grandchildren: Zachary, Alex, Lucas, Victoria, Nathan and Hillary; his mother: Mrs. Ada Blanchard; brothers: Lloyd (Wanda), Alvin (Cathy) and Baxter (Mary); sisters: Patsy (Hubert) Blanchard, Doreen (Jerome) Bennett and Darlene (David) Ruth, as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his father Garland and brother Garland Jr. Friends may visit St. James Anglican Church, Gillams beginning Friday evening from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 21st at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican cemetery, Meadows. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made the St. James Memorial Fund or to the Palliative Care Unit.
