ANDREW L. PURCHASE Corner Brook, NL February 14th, 1922 - January 22nd, 2007 								 Passed peacefully away at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Andrew Purchase in his 85th year. Predeceased by his parents William and Salome, sisters Lulu Thorne, Ivy Goulding Crewe and Gladys Bartlett, brothers Allister and Nelson. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 57 years Violet (Taylor), sons: Tony (Sheila), Halifax, Randy (Mary), St. John’s and Larry, Toronto, grandchildren: Jannah, Anthony (and their mother Nancy), Dylan and Lauren, sisters-in-law: Minnie Sharpe, Eileen Kingsley, Doris Breedlove, Jean Parsons, Valda Randall and Irene Taylor, brothers-in-law: Hayward Taylor, Ron Taylor and Frank (Violet Francis) Taylor. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday from 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 24th at 2:00 PM from the Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Kathy Brett officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are being accepted. Donations may be made to the Humber United Church Memorial Fund or to the Cowan Heights United Church Memorial Fund, St. John’s.
