It is with great sadness that the family of the late Walter Scanlon announce his passing on Monday, January 22nd, 2007 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders in his 86th year. He leaves to mourn his son: Brian (Mary), grandsons: Barry (Rachel), Brian (Iris); granddaughter: Violet; great grandchildren: Quinn, Morgan, MacKenzie, Russell, all residing at Castor River North; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving friends at St. Anne’s Chapel, Castor River North on Tuesday and Wednesday from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 25th at 11:00 A.M., Father Roger officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bartlett’s Harbour. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Au Choix.
