AMELIA HALBOT Heatherton, NL December 3, 1906 - January 22, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Amelia Halbot announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing on Monday, January 22nd, 2007 at the age of 100 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories children: Mary Hynes, Port au Port, Ramona Saunders, Dartmouth, N.S., Walter (Mary), Goose Bay, Harold, Heatherton, Ada Hickman, Hamilton, ON, Gordon (Marylin), ON and Philip, Heatherton; 52 grandchildren, 92great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren; sister Verna Trask, Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Arthur and sons Arthur Jr. and Patrick. Friends may visit St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Heatherton on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm, from where the Funeral Service will take place on Friday, January 26th at 2:00 pm, officiated by Monsignor Raymond Marche. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Heatherton. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Church Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
