Grant Robert John Bartlett Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Grant Bartlett announce his passing on Thursday, February 1st, 2007 at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 69 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 43 years, Shirley; daughter: Diane (Mike) Greening, Corner Brook; son: Brent (Jennifer), Deer Lake; two precious grandsons: Jared and John Greening; sister-in-law: Gwen Mitchell; pet dog, Gizmoe, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents: Wilfred and Theresa Bartlett; brother: Dr. Glen Bartlett and father and mother-in-law: Ches and Mildred Callahan. Friends may visit Fillatre’s funeral home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3rd at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, Park Street. Rev. Clayton Parsons officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Bay of Islands SPCA, P.O. Box 876, Corner Brook, NL, A2H 6H6. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
