Wilhelmina Maud SHORT Heatherton, NL September 28, 1910 - February 15, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilhelmina Short announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre on Thursday, February 15th, 2007 at the age of 96 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories children: Clarence Short, Heatherton, Angela (Robert) Newhook, Badger, Anne (Austin) Legge, Stephenville, Isabell (Ronald) Shears, Stephenville and Shirly Marsh, Heatherton; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Russell Butt, Cormack, Narris Butt, Robinsons, Pearl Gilliam, Stephenville, Sarah Ford, Moncton and Thomas Butt, Robinsons, along with a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Albert Short (October 11, 1983); brothers and sisters: Joyce White, Isabell Gail, Annie Major, Cecil Butt, Lydia Cutler, Grace Legge, Larry Butt, Lindburgh Butt and Raymond Butt; son-in-law Lewellyn Marsh (March 12, 1981) and daughter-in-law Vera Short (September 11, 2006). Friends may visit the United Church in Heatherton on Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Monday 10-12 noon, from where the Funeral Service will take place on Monday, February 19th at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the United Cemetery in Heatherton. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Heatherton United Church Memorial Fund.
