Susie Eileen DARRIGAN 1921-2008 Passed away gently and peacefully on Tuesday afternoon March 25th, 2008 at the O’Connell Centre Corner Brook, at the age of 87. She leaves to mourn her daughters Joanne Sigouin, Helen Darrigan (Richard Bell), grandchildren Kathy Sheppard (Byron House), Nicole Sigouin (Richard Scarsbrook), Robert Sigouin (Ling Ngo), great grandchildren Angela Brake and Holly Brake, brothers Ronald Sheppard (Eileen Youden), Ross Sheppard, James Sheppard (Joan), Isaac Sheppard Jr. (Doris), sisters-in-law Priscilla Sheppard, Naomi (Nonie) Darrigan, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her husband William Stanley Darrigan June 17, 2001, son James Warren Darrigan January 4, 2006, son-in-law Bob Sigouin November 12, 2007, sisters Georgina Sheppard and Olive Field, brothers Cyril Sheppard and Clayton Sheppard, parents Isaac and Phoebe Sheppard. Visitation will be held at St. James Church, Lark Harbour Thursday March 27th from 7-9 p.m. Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Saturday March 29th from 10:00-11:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating, with the interment at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the St. James Church Memorial fund.
