STELLA WHALEN Stephenville Crossing, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stella Whalen announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Monday, February 26th, 2007 at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn with loving memories: brothers: Karl (Nora) Young, Stephenville, Limbert (Marion) Young, St. Georges’s, Eugene (Joanne) Young, Heatherton, Walter (Wanda) Young, Robinsons, Phonse (Mariah) Young, Heatherton; brother-in-law: Louis (Mary) Whalen, McKays; step-mother: Emma Young, Stephenville Crossing, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband George; parents: Walter Young and Margaret Jesso; brothers: Raymond, Leo, Earl, Raymond and Ronald. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing on Tuesday, February 27th from 2-4 and 7-9:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 28th at 10:00 A.M. from the Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption in Stephenville Crossing. Fr. Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
