MARY “MAE” WHEELER April 16th, 1913 - February 28th, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Wheeler announce her passing on Wednesday, February 28th, 2007 at the Interfaith Home for Seniors, Corner Brook at the age of 93 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Terry (Herb) Newell, Ontario; daughter-in-law Maude (Donald) Goode, Corner Brook; grandchildren: Daryl (Lisa) Wheeler, Rod (Debbie) Wheeler, Corner Brook, Jim Wheeler, Natasha (Jason) McCarthy, Scott (Tammy) Robertson, Ontario; great-grandchildren: Evan and Alexandra Wheeler, Corner Brook, David Wheeler, St. John’s, Jonathan Wheeler, British Columbia, Ethan McCarthy, Ontario; special niece Nina Baldwin, Corner Brook; sister Annie Wyezol, Corner Brook; brothers: Ralph (Margarite) Scott, Stephenville, Harry (Edith) Scott, Corner Brook; sisters-in-law: Mildred Scott, Leah Scott, Corner Brook, Carm Wheeler, Frenchman’s Cove; special family member Patricia Wheeler, Corner Brook, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband Raymond Wheeler, son Dave Wheeler, parents Hayward and Annie Baldwin, brothers Sam, Arch, George, Cecil, Freeman, Scott and sister Dorothy Prosper. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday and Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 4th at 1:30 PM from the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist with the Very Rev. Michael Rice officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
