It is with great sadness that the family of the late RICHARD FREEMAN SHEPPARD announce his passing on Sunday, March 4th, 2007 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 83. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his seven children: Samuel Sheppard (Cassandra), Bertha Childs (Walter), Paul Sheppard(Ruby), Carl Sheppard (Wavey), Lillian Kendell (Charlie), Melina Joyce (Wayde), Peter Sheppard (Karen); 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; sister Beulah Youden, Linda Janes; brothers: Moses Sheppard, George Sheppard, Lee Sheppard as well as many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Annie 1985, daughter Mary, father Richard Sheppard, mother Lillian (nee: Wheeler), step mother Olive Sheppard. Friends may visit St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour Monday from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon followed by the funeral service Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating, with the interment at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the fifth floor of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook.
