Geraldine Marie Foley Corner Brook, NL Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 7th, 2007 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Geraldine Foley, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 74 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her five daughters: Carla (David) Wells, Debra (Ben) Simms, Sandra (Bob) Ryan, Colleen (Duane) Huxter and Margaret (Brent) Critch, all residing in Corner Brook; 10 grandchildren: Andrew and Michael Simms, Jonathan Wells, Julia and Rebecca Ryan, Christopher and Nicholas Hurley, Ethan Huxter, Emily and Adam Critch; sisters: Julia (Owen) O`Neill and Bernadette (Ron) Pike; brothers: Gerald (Ann) McHugh, Eddie (Carol) McHugh, Pat (Cecile) McHugh, Bernard (Linda) McHugh, Eugene (Sharon) McHugh , Richard (Sol) McHugh and Carl (Linda) McHugh; brother-in-law: Gerald (Dolores) Foley; sister-in-law: Donalda (late Jack) Gatherall; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Carleton, April 10th, 2005 and brother Reginald McHugh, September 20th, 2005. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday and Friday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 10th at 10:30 A.M. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer , Mt. Bernard Avenue. Fr. Ambrose Hynes officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. Interment will take place on Monday, March 12th at 11:00 A.M. at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Townsite. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Holy Redeemer Parish, Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation or to the charity of ones choice.
