It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret June Matthews announce her passing on Saturday, March 10th, 2007 at the Paddon Memorial Home, at the age of 69 years. She will be sadly missed by her sons: Gregory (Nancy) and David (Janice); grandchildren: Tyler and Ryan; step-grandchildren: Shane and Michelle; sisters: Rosamond, Evelyn, Marjorie (Normand) and Doris (Francis); brothers: Ronald and Robert (Isobel), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Leonard Matthews and sister Patricia May Watts. The Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, March 13th at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church in North West River, Labrador. Interment will follow in North West River at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Goose Bay.
