Deborah Herritt November 1, 1928 - March 30, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Deborah Herritt announce her passing on Sunday, March 30th, 2008. Born in Burnt Islands, she was the daughter of the late George and Annie Caines. She was predeceased by her husband Aubrey; brothers: Manuel and Seaward; step-brothers: Fred and Henry Bryan. She leaves to mourn 14 children: Irene (Charlie) Chaulk, Port Aux Basques, Arthur (Linda), Rose Blanche, Wayne (Ida), Rose Blanche, Gilbert (Debbie), Thorold, Ontario, Barbara (Lorne) Porter, Rose Blanche, Bill (Margie), Rose Blanche, Manuel (Kim), Lark Harbour, Gary (Brenda), Rose Blanche, Florence, Rose Blanche, David (Diane), Rose Blanche, Charlie (Maisie), Isle Aux Morte, Robert (Nancy), Lower Sackville, NS, Arthena (Scott) Keeping, Eastern Passage, NS, and Trina (Jamie Graham), Eastern Passage, NS. Deborah also leaves to mourn 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters: Elizabeth “Liz”, Isle Aux Morte and Janie, Lower Sackville, NS, Mary (John) Snooks, Isle Aux Morte and June (Calvin) Durnford, Rose Blanche; brother Willie (Diane), Isle Aux Morte, and sister-in-law Lizzie Caines. Her smile and kindness will live in our hearts forever. She will be sadly missed. Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 4th at 2:00 pm from St. Michael’s and All Angels Church in Rose Blanche, officiated by Reverend Nussey. Interment will follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery in Margaree.
