EDWARD M. BENNETT Stephenville Crossing, NL 						 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Bennett announce his passing on Saturday, March 17th, 2006 at the Sir Thomas Roddrick Hospital, Stephenville at the age of 74 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Theresa, children: Mary (Greg) Tait, Ontario, Karen (Melvin) White, Lorraine (Don) White, Edward (Sharon), Perry (Joanne), Fort McMurray, Valerie (Larry), Heather, Marina (Chris), Ontario, Eileen, St. John’s and Margaret (Brian), Ontario, step-children: Rose Ann Young, Dartmouth, NS, Jacqueline Halbot, Toronto and Gerard Madore, Ontario, 23 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters and 1 brother. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Arthur and brother Harold. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Hall, St. George’s on Tuesday, March 20th 10-12 noon from where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Court House Road, St. George’s. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations my be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
