Passed peacefully away at the Labrador Grenfell Health Centre surrounded by family and friends on March 20th, 2007, Emily Thomas-Bird aged 71 years. Predeceased by husband Albert and sister Loretta. Left with many happy memories are her sons: Chip (Shirley Ann) and Denis; daughter Fiona (Craig Frawley); grandchildren: Michael, Alison and Daniel, all of whom she was so proud; sisters: Florence (Llewellyn) Matthews, Greta (Otto) Harris and Ruby (Jack) Johnson; Grandma Emily’s special family: Stephen, Melvie, Craig and Claire Colbourne, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. At her request, cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honour to the Canadian Cancer Society. A Memorial Service will follow at a later date.
