It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert Brake announce his passing on Wednesday, March 21st, 2007 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 49 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his parents: William and Madeline Brake, Corner Brook; sisters: Betty (Raymond Riggs), Halifax, NS, Diane (Wayne Davis), Corner Brook and Joy (Lloyd Bartlett), Bonne Bay Pond; brothers: William, Ontario, Stan (Shara), Corner Brook and Tony (Karen), Summerside; as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his sister Madonna Parsons, October 2003. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Friday, 2-4:00 p.m. Cremation will follow. The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 24th at 2:00 p.m. from All Hallows Church, Humber Road. Father Edwin Gale officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation.
