DONALD TURPIN Deer Lake, NL December 30th, 1930 - March 26th, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald Turpin announce his passing at his family residence on Monday, March 26th, 2007 at the age of 76 years. He will be sadly missed by his daughters: Joan Humber with whom he resided and Evelyn (Derek) Organ; grandchildren: Jason (Natasha) and Tanya (Ralph); two great-grandchildren: Madison and Megan; sister-in-law Ida Easton; sister Elizabeth (Peter) Walsh, Saint Lawrence; brother Joseph (Melinda) Slaney, Southern Harbour. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Mary, mother Annie Slaney, sister Roberta Fitzpatrick and brother Jim. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 29th at 10:00 AM from the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Roman Church with Father Aidan Devine officiating. Interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery, Wight’s Road. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
