It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Pollett announce her passing at the J.I. O’Connell Centre on Thursday, March 29th, 2007 at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband, Ray; son: Troy (Elaine) and their son Andrew, St. John’s; daughter: Nicole (Mike Byrne), Corner Brook; seven sisters and two brothers: Alma Walsh (Walter, deceased), Ruby Ballard, Calvin Gosse, James Gosse (Dulcie), Joyce Simmons (Nelson), Mary Colbourne (Paul), Doreen Higdon (James), Linda Hefford (James), Annette Bonin (Paul); brothers-in-law: Bernard Pollett and Earl (Ruth) Pollett, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents: Stephen and Flora Gosse; brother George and sister Edna; mother-in-law: Evelyn Pollett and brother-in-law: Walwyn Pollett. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday evening, 7-9:00 p.m., and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 2nd, at 2:00 from the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive. Majors Ron and Joyce Stuckless officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Fourth Floor of the O’Connell Centre.
