Theresa Elizabeth (Nee McCarthy) HYNES March 24, 1921 - March 30, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Theresa Hynes announce her passing at the family residence in Benoit’s Cove on Friday, March 30th, 2007 at the age of 86 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, husband Gerald Raymond Hynes; sons: Benedict (Madeline), Kevin (Elsie), both of Benoit’s Cove; daughters: Ann (Edwin) Rumboldt, Benoit’s Cove, Theresa (Dan) Musseau, Curling, Veronica (Gregory) Chaytor, Qatar, Madonna Butt, Corner Brook, Barbara Ann Hynes, Half Way Point, Sandra Hynes, Calgary, AB; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters: Cecilia Gallant, Maude Dormody, Loretta Hickey, Bride (Jim) Boland, all of Benoit’s Cove; brothers: Jerome McCarthy, Benoit’s Cove, John McCarthy, Kippens, Peter (Pearl) McCarthy, ON, Leo (Bella) McCarthy, ON; sisters-in-law: Madge Hackett, Calgary and Rena Hynes, Fox Island River, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her son Michael, 1978 and daughter Eileen, 2006. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. . The Funeral Service will take place at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Parish in Benoit’s Cove on Tuesday, April 3rd at 10:30 A.M.. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery, Benoits Cove.
