VIOLET PEARL BARRY CORNER BROOK, NL January 21, 1926 - April 7, 2007 Passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 7th, 2007, Violet Barry (nee Anstey) at Western Memorial Regional Hospital,) in her 81st year. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Mary Barry, Montreal; sons: John Francis (Barbara), Corner Brook, Robert (Patricia), MooseJaw, SK and Kevin (Nancy), Keswick, ON; grandchildren: Darlene (Harold) Bellows, Jason (Karen) Barry, Marika (Kevin) Seguin, Mandy Barry, Todd and Sheena Barry, Shane Barry; missing their great Nan are Erin and Hannah Bellows, and Sebastian Barry; sister-in-law: Ruby (Charles) Webb, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband John Alfred; son David and infant daughter Sylvia; sister: Nina (Harold) Sheppard; father and stepmother: Wesley and Laura Anstey; birth mother: Mary Anstey (Mosher), father and mother-in-law: Fred and Mary Barry; brothers and sisters-in-law: Gordon Barry, William and Margaret Barry, Annie and Raymond Bennett, Mildred Barry. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday evening, 7-9 p.m., and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday, April 11th at 10:30 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue. Fr. Edwin Gale officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
