Rona Mary DELANEY (Nee McKay) Stephenville Crossing, NL March 17th, 1933 - April 9th, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rona Delaney announce her passing on Monday, April 9th, 2007 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 74th year. Lovingly remembered by her children: Monte (Janet), Kim, Jill (Grant), all of Stephenville Crossing and Ian, Fort McMurray, AB; four grandchildren: Erin, Ryan, Hayley and Drew. Also remembered by her brother Cliff McKay; sister Cora McFatridge; special friends: Alicia Howard and Marg Ozon, as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by husband Tim; parents Notman and Bertha; brothers: Percy and Raymond. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday, between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from All Saints Anglican Church, Stephenville Crossing, on Thursday, April 12th at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Gwen Butler officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bay St. George Sick Children’s Foundation or the All Saints Anglican Church Memorial Fund. At Rona’s request, cremation has taken place.
