Bernard PIERCEY Corner Brook, NL August 8, 1922 - April 10, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernard Piercey announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 10th, 2007 at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories brother Tom (Betty) with whom he resided in Irishtown; sisters: Patricia (Basil) Dingwell, Fort Nelson, B.C., Mary (Ray) Park, Corner Brook, Madonna (Albert) Neville, Pasadena, and Doreen (Bill) Wall, Codroy Valley, along with a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by parents Tom and Myra Piercey; brothers: Gus and Gerald, and sisters: Mary Agnes and Rita (Henry). Friends may visit St. Brendan’s Roman Catholic Church in Irishtown on Wednesday between the hours of 2-9 p.m., from where the Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, April 12th at 10:30 a.m. Father Edwin Gale officiating. At Bernard’s request, cremation will follow. Interment will be announced at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
