It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bud Hamlyn announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, April 10th, 2007 at the age of 68. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Hazel, children and grandchildren: Cyrus (Christine), Nicholas & Alycia, Hilda (Alan) Shepherd, Stephen & Ashley, Angela (Brian) Gordon, Mason & Loa, Maria (Brian) Collier, Emily, Dawson & Elijah; brothers: Albert, Howard (Josie), Fred (Clemmie) & Walter (Margaret), sisters: Gladys, Pearl & Carrie (Patrick); brothers-in-law: Angus (Betty) Moss, Reg (Mary) Moss, sisters-in-law: Eileen Hamlyn, Ann (Wade) Denney, Judy (Derrick) Sparkes, Emma Knott, Edith Moss & Genevieve Moss; mother-in-law Margaret Moss and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Cyrus & Emily; brothers: George, Tom, Richard & Robert, sisters: Edna & Iola. The funeral service will be held Friday, April 13th at 2:00 p.m. from Oakland United Church, Marilyn Avery officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
