Elsie Park-Smith (nee Wheeler) Lark Harbour, NL August 4, 1921 - April 21, 2007 Passed away on Saturday, April 21st, 2007 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Elsie Smith at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her two sons: Fred Park (Hazel), Corner Brook and John Park (Nina), Yarmouth, NS; daughter: Juanita Mollon (Melvin), with whom she resided, Lark Harbour; grandchildren: Larry (Sherry), Glenda, Jimmy, Karen (Mike), Cynthia (Timmy), John (Vickie), Lori Lee (Dion); 11 great grandchildren; Sean, Holly, Kevin, Johnny, Michael, Adam, Elissa, Shelby, Cameron, Jesse and Kerry; two brothers: Chester and Calvin Wheeler, York Harbour; one sister-in-law: Mary Wheeler, Fredericton, NB, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her first husband Fred Park, 1983, second husband Cecil Smith, 2005; parents: John and Gertrude Wheeler; brothers: Jack, Gordon, Arthur and George Wheeler; sisters: Florence, Whilamina and Angela; grandson: Kerry Mollon, 1989. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and from the family residence at 30 Little Port Road, Lark Harbour on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 24th at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the VON , Lark Harbour Clinic.
