It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arthur Henry Coates announce his passing on April 23rd, 2007 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 82 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Bessie; daughters: Audrey (Walter), Lauretta (Scott); son Harry (Gloria); step-daughters: Sarah (Don), Diane (Tony), Kathy (Thorston) and Sharon (Jack); 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Marian; second wife Nina; son Lloyd; brother George; sisters: Jessie and Annie and parents Alfred and Amy Coates. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Tuesday, April 24th between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 25th at 2:00 p.m. from the Pentecostal Church with interment following at the Pentecostal Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Gideon Society.
