Obituary of Mary Belle Bartlett

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Belle Bartlett announce her passing on Friday, October 15th, 2004 at the J.I. O'Connell Centre at the age of 92 years. Mary was an avid gardener; she loved to knit, crotchet, watch cooking shows and she especially loved to watch NHL Hockey. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughter Phyllis, Ottawa, ON, sons; Melvyn (Sandra), Centreville, NS, Ford (Lydia), Comer Brook, and David (Rosemary), Lower Sackville, NS; daughter-in-law Mona, St. John's; 14 grandchildren: Yvonne, Judy, Mary, Anne, Samuel, Douglas, Julie, Janet, Suzanne, Lori, David, Gregory, Deborah and Josiah; 12 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren: sisters; Doris (Dot) (Edward) Penney, Alfreda Penney, Springdale and Bonnie Woolridge (Cecil), Corner Brook; brothers-in-law; Cyril and Rex, Comer Brook, sisters-in-law; Nina, Mabel and Margaret, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her-husband Chesley, March 16th, 2003, son Dunning, sisters; G1adys and Mavis. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9;00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 18th at 2:00 p.m. from the Pentecostal Tabernacle, Elizabeth Street, Pastor Calvin Andrews officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
