WALLACE MAJOR Norris Point, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wallace Major announce his passing on Friday, May 11th, 2007 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 87 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his 4 sons: Victor (Georgie), Alberta, Lloyd (Joyce), Placentia, Tom (Christine), Alberta and Cleo (Sandra), Alberta; 4 daughters: Mary (Fred) Harding, Corner Brook, Majors Linda (Wilson) Janes, Campbellton, Ella (Grant) Payne, Pasadena and Cynthia (Warren) Roberts, Alberta. 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Biney (Joe) Casey, Annie Hartshorn, Marie Young, Willis (Elaine) Major, Jim (Loretta) Major, Terry (Muriel) Major and Audrey (Darren) Fortune; sisters-in-law: Marjorie Cooper, Rita Rideout, Olga Payne, Ruby (Mitt) Goosney and Isabelle (George) Major . As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years Alma Major on December 20th, 2006. Friends may visit the Church of the Good Shepherd, Norris Point on Saturday at 2:00 PM from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, May 14th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Canon John Olsson officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Church of the Good Shepherd Cemetery Fund or to the 5th & 6th Floor Enhancement Committee, Western Memorial Regional Hospital .
