Violet Ellen Pike Corner Brook, NL 						 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Violet Pike announce her passing on Saturday, May 12th, 2007 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her husband Cecil Pike, August 18th, 2006 and brother William Herold. She leaves to mourn with very fond and loving memories her daughter Major Helen (Major Harold) Robbins, Orangeburge, NY; son Major Wayne (Captain Betty Ann) Pike, Corner Brook, NL; grandchildren: David (Julie) Robbins, Darryl (Amy) Robbins, Baltimore, MD; Captain Elaine (Captain Jamie) Locke, Glover’s Harbour, NL; great-granddaughters: Chloe Joy Robbins and Annabelle Elizabeth Pike; sisters-in-law: Mrs. Jean Sparkes, Mrs. Mildred (Abdner) Clarke, Corner Brook, NL and Mrs. Geraldine Spear, Boston, MA; brother-in-law Mr. Frank (Audrey) Pike, Corner Brook, NL. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 15th at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street with Major Harold Robbins officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel Memorial Fund.
