Ronald HANCOCK Corner Brook, NL Dec. 5, 1917 - May 15, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald Hancock announce his peaceful passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Tuesday, May 15th, 2007 at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 66 years, Stella; sons: Clayton (Edith), Lorne (Judy), both of Corner Brook; daughter Greta (Alton), Ft. McMurray, AB; grandchildren: Gerry, Darren, Jonathan, Tiffany, Lori, Ron, Denise, Danielle, Debbie, Tom; great-grandchildren: Samantha, Madeline, Delaney, Chloe, Brody, Tianna Rose, Dawson, Lauren, Jillian, Adam, Rebecca, Dylan, Hayley; brother Harold (Margaret); sisters: Allie (Max), Dorothy, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents Sidney and Alfreda; great-granddaughter Megan; sisters: Susie, Ethel and Greta. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from First United Church, Park Street on Friday, May 18th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Dr.Wayne Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at WMRH.
