Alfreda Susan Plowman (nee Day) Port Au Choix, NL Passed away on Monday, May 14th, 2007 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, Mrs. Alfreda Plowman of Port Au Choix in her 87th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: daughters: Margaret (Roy) Curtis, Curling, Dorothy Humber, Whilomena (Romeo) Caines, Port Au Choix; sons: Melvin (Kim) Plowman, David (Debbie) Plowman, Roy (Marilyn) Plowman, Port Au Choix, Ivan Plowman and Wilson (Bernadette) Plowman, Fort McMurray, AB; 21 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James; sons: Garland and Garfield; daughters: Alice and Marie and sons-in-law: Cyril and Cecil. Visitation will take place from St. Thomas Beckett Anglican Church, Port Au Choix beginning on Tuesday evening from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 17th at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at the old Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Au Choix.
