On January 11th, 2004, David Charles Mastin passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord after a courageous six month battle with cancer, at the age of 21.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories. his parents Michael and Ada Mastin, sister Amanda Mastin, soul mate Janice Williams, grandmother Emma Mastin, aunts and uncles. Guy (Althea) Hillier, Seal Cove, Victoria Saunders, Main Brook, Selma Combden, Corner Brook, Stella (Reginald) Russell, Port Hope Simpson and great aunt Joyce Mastin, England. As well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents: Charles Mastin and George rind Violet Hillier.
Friends may visit Fillatre Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive., Deer Lake, Wednesday 2-4 and 7.9 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 15th at 2 p.m. from the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church with Pastor Terry Snow officiating, Internment will be held at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Wights; Road.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
