It is with great sadness that the family of Doris Greening announce her passing on Friday, August 20th, 2004 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her five children: Robert Greening (friend, Heather), Brantford, ON, Jillian (Buckle) Frank, Corner Brook, Colleen Hofing (Christian), Georgetown, ON, Lucien Mosher (Roy), Corner Brook, and Beverley Lidstone (Ronald), Fort McMurray, AB; 15 grandchildren: Maxine and Sherry Greening, Francene, Darlene, Paul and Donna Buckle, Richard, Daniel, Liza, Stephen and Timothy Hofing, Marc and Scott Mosher, Christopher and Robbie Lidstone, may great-grandchildren, 2 sisters: Lilly Tyrell and Iris Cutting (Roy); 2 brothers: Dennis Daynes (Maureen) and Maurice Daynes (Doreen); sister-in-law: Lilly Daynes, as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Maxwell, October 27, 1984 and brother George Daynes. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 22nd, at 2:00 p.m. from the Humber United Church, Clarence Street, Rev. Patricia Melindy officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
