Effie Florence Blanchard Gillams, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Effie Blanchard announce her passing on Thursday, May 24th, 2007 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 68 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her four sons: Andrew (Tammy), Kitchener, ON, Christopher (Ruth-Anne), Gillams, Fraser, Kitchener and Monty (Jennifer), Kitchener, ON; five precious grandchildren: Alex, Lucas, Victoria, Hillary and Zachary; one sister: Audrey (Henry), Kitchener, ON; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents: Kenneth and Irene Murrin, and brother Charles Murrin. Friends may visit St. James Anglican Church, Gillams beginning Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 27th at 2:00 p.m . Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Cox’s Cove. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James Memorial Fund.
