It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clarice May Hopkins announce her passing on Thursday, May 24th, 2007 at the Labrador Health Centre, at the age of 91 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband Llewellyn; children: Rosetta (Job) Sainsbury, Leila (Wayne) Wamer, Viann (Ez) Saunders, Rex (Golda) Hopkins, Ian (Martha) Hopkins and Cheryl (Chris) Soroka; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister Edith Parsons; brother Robert Burdett, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Joshua and Elizabeth Burdett; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Friday, May 25th and Saturday, May 26th between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 27th at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church. Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
