It is with great sadness that the family of the late Willie Edward Broomfield announce his passing on Sunday, May 27th, 2007 at the Labrador Health Centre, at the age of 63 years. He will be sadly missed by his children: Andy, Batten (Linda), Una and Edward; grandchildren: Tommy, Jr., Isabella and Christian; brothers: Don (Annette), Sam (Betty), Abe (Verna), and Tony; sister Margaret (Dale), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret; sister Karen; brother Batten and his parents. Friends visited Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Monday, May 28th from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, May 29th from the United Church. Interment followed at the Moravian Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the family.
