ROSE Clarence Richard February 14th, 1922 - June 4th, 2007 Corner Brook, NL Merchant Navy WWII It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clarence Rose announce his passing at the DVA Pavilion, O’Connell Centre, Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter Shirley (Roy) Warren, Corner Brook; sons: Clarence (Jackie), Massey Drive and Keith (Clara), Grand Falls - Windsor; grandchildren: Gail (Robert) Specker, Corner Brook; Chad Rose, Ontario; Sean (Angela) Warren, New Brunswick; Crystal Rose, Japan; Ryan Warren, Jeffrey Rose both of St. John’s and Lindsay Rose, Corner Brook; great grandchildren: Jenna and Ethan Specker, Corner Brook; special friend Jane Lewis, Corner Brook; brother Heber (Lizzie) Rose, Stephenville Crossing; step-sisters: Margie Butt, Emily (Robert) Simms all of Massey Drive and Marie (Selby) Decker, Fort. McMurray; step-brother John (Irene) Rose, Springdale; sister-in-law Shirley (Ralph) Read, Corner Brook. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Nellie. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook on Monday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 6th at 11:00 a.m from the First United Church with Rev. Clayton Parsons officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the First United Church Memorial Fund or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
